Economic Development- McDonald’s

Perhaps you have heard that Herriman will be home to a new McDonald’s restaurant.  The plans for the McDonald’s were approved by the Planning Commission on May 27, 2010.  Herriman City has granted McDonald’s a conditional use permit to develop their restaurant on 1.03 acres at 5000 W 13400 S.  Construction will begin in August or September 2010.  It is expected that construction will take about 3-4 months, with McDonalds opening in December or January.  I am told that the playland at this new store will be incredibly large.  So we hope that all the moms in Herriman will be ready to bring their children to eat and play at McDonald’s in the cold months ahead!
